As a fairly new issue, Arctic ice melt associated with greenhouse gas emissions and climate change is something that experts insist cannot be ignored. At panel discussion, participants describe the risks it poses to national and worldwide security and future climate issues.  Speakers include The Honorable Gary Hart, University of Colorado at Denver; Dr. Scott Borgerson, Council on Foreign Relations; Dr. Robert Huebert, University of Calgary; RADM Gene Brooks, United States Coast Guard.  The event was entitled "Climate Change: The New Security Imperative in the Melting Arctic" and was held at the Center for National Policy in Washington, DC on February 2, 2010.
