Clean Skies News reports on President Obama in Italy urging all industrial nations to combat global warming. And, In the six-months he has chaired the Committee on Energy and Commerce Henry Waxman has led hearings on global warming, drafted a climate bill, and forged an agreement with fellow Democrats. But even though his American Clean Energy and Securities (ACES) Act passed out of the House last month, Waxman wants a say as the Senate prepares to take up "its own" climate legislation.
Clean Skies News spent the morning with Waxman as the chairman discussed his ground-breaking bill. Also, The CFTC is planning hearings to consider restrictions on speculative trading in oil, gas and other energy commodities, including related index and exchange-traded funds.
