More than 40 witnesses testified, including many Cabinet members and Sen. John Kerry and former Sen. John Warner. Sen. Warner talks with Tyler Suiters about why he believes this legislation is so important to the security of the country, and future of all military men and women. President Obama toured the first ever large scale solar plant and announced $3.4 billion dollars in grants for smart grid technology. George Arnold, National Coordinator for Smart Grid at the National Institute of Standards and Technology on what projects could benefit from the grants, and what standards a new smart grid will have to meet. And we take another step on the road to Copenhagen. Managing Editor Susan McGinnis and Executive Editor Margaret Ryan discuss which countries are taking steps to curb carbon emissions.
