Experts from Cornell University and New York State officials briefed congressional staff this morning on the drilling technique hydraulic fracturing, or hydrofracking. Clean Skies News spoke with Susan Riha, director of the New York State Water Resources Institute at Cornell, after the meeting. Riha says regulation of hydrofracking is necessary to protect the nation's water resources.
