Don Blankenship had nothing
Don Blankenship had nothing to offer. He did not answer many of the questions. I thought the debate was to be on the surface mining in West Virginia, instead, Blankenship kept comparing us to China and India. Blankenship stooped to name calling and cheerleading. I was interested in both sides of the arguement, but only got one. It is too bad. I hope the mining industry chooses someone who is not afraid to stay on subject if this opportunity arises again.
I will have to admit that I
I will have to admit that I fast-forwarded through most of Kennedy's rants, after I'd heard a half dozen.
Nevertheless, Blankenship is the coolest debater I have ever seen. It seems obvious that it comes from a mastery of the facts and a logical intelligence that few can claim. Along with a calm attitude that I admit, I could not maintain in the same environment.
If I were President, I would beg this man to be my Energy Secretary.
