About this video

Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago has what it claims is a new, inexpensive way to clean up contaminated areas of land - by planting trees. Specialists have developed a tree with roots that grow straight down, to absorb polluted water and release it into the air.

At the very first, I’d favor to give thanks to you for this informative article. Lastly, I'd prefer to doubt wherever I can identify greater info concerning your article. I got here through Bing & can not notice any related web internet sites on this matter. How do I sign for your web blog? I had choose to bind to your updates as they come along! I'd a query to interrogate but I forgotten what it absolutely was... anyways, thanx.

It's great to see any action

It's great to see any action being taken to help clean up our enviroment. Resources such as rivers and trees will be needed by our future generations. We should think more about future generations before polluting the enviroment in the first place. But cleaning up is the next best step. I say well done to them.

This week on GreenSense Radio Brownfield Redevelopment was also discussed. Hundreds of thousands of brownfields - environmentally impaired properties - dot the urban landscape. Like perspiration stains from our industrial past, you can see these properties sitting vacant, abandoned, or underutilized because people are afraid of the unknown cost of environmental cleanup and liability. Many of these sites also have buildings that are functionally obsolete, and are in bad locations with little economic or market value.
Brownfields left idle create social, environmental, and economic decay. An entire industry has formed to put these properties back into productive use, recycling land and infrastructure, making it one of the more tangible forms of sustainable development - creating jobs, improving the local property tax rolls, and cleaning up polluted sites.

Our demands and needs, we get

Our demands and needs, we get it from earth. So it’s our duty to keep our earth clean and green. It's a great initiation by Argonne National Laboratory of Chicago. The way they are heading is really appreciable work.
Forestation is one of the best ways to preserve our natural resources. Personally speaking, in our town, youngsters have started new campaign to start afforestation. Instead of organizing wild party in their birthday, we started to plant a tree in every one's birthday and I think that would be successful plan.
Due to pollution, deforestation, contaminated water, air pollution, sound pollution etc, lots of people are being suffered by different diseases.
We might not be able to purify rivers, might not be able to decrease noise pollution but at least we can do what we are able to. So, move on and start new and small campaigns which can cause some big difference .
