Yvo de Boer
Executive Secretary, UNFCCC
Yvo de Boer was appointed Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC on August 10, 2006. He has been involved in climate change policies since 1994. Mr. de Boer helped prepare the position of the European Union in the lead-up to the negotiations on the Kyoto Protocol and has since led delegations to the UNFCCC negotiations. He's the person responsible for seeing the Bali roadmap is followed and the Copenhagen meeting comes off as planned.
