Jonathan Pershing
Deputy Special Envoy for Climate Change, USA
Pershing serves as the State Department’s senior climate negotiator and Head of Delegation at the official level meetings of the UN climate change conferences, including the talks leading up to Copenhagen. He reports to Special Envoy Todd Stern. Dr. Pershing served most recently as Director of the Climate, Energy and Pollution Program at the World Resources Institute (WRI), and was a senior climate official in the State Department during the Clinton administration.
