Connie Hedegaard
Minister of Climate and Energy, Denmark
Connie Hedegaard currently serves as the Danish Minister of Climate and Energy. From August 2004 to November 2004, Hedegaard was the Danish Minister for the Environment. She played a role in introducing Denmark’s Energy Policy 2008-2011. That policy made Denmark one of the first in the world to commit to an overall energy reduction. Hedegaard is the incoming COP15 president.
