Clean Skies tracks developments in the natural gas industry including gas production through extraction via wellheads and the use of hydraulic fracturing (hydrofracking) technology in shale formations, pipeline gathering and transport, market supply and demand, LNG (liquefied natural gas) and its market impacts, and uses of natural gas. The last includes natural gas consumption for transportation, as compressed natural gas, and as an electricity generating fuel, including balancing power for intermittent renewable sources like wind and solar. Also covered: environmental issues, associated exploration, extraction, storage, transportation, and marketing of natural gas.
