Obama Copenhagen Visit Changes International Agendas
Some world leaders are changing their schedules so they can arrive on the same day President Obama attends the world climate summit.
An administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, says leaders that had planned on only attending the second week of the 2-week conference will now arrive on December 9. Details are still being worked out.
Obama decided to take a trip to Copenhagen at the beginning of the summit in order to signal to international leaders that the U.S. is committed to global warming strategies.
President Obama arrives on the 9th before heading off to Oslo to accept the Nobel Peace Prize.
